Focus: English alphabet and simple words Target language practice: Students will learn and practice the English alphabet, recognize letter sounds, and start building English vocabulary with simple words for common objects. Students will begin writing letters and simple words. Goals: Recognize English letters Write English letters Recognize the connection of sounds and letters Learn simple words Communicate with simple phrases
